Monday, February 23, 2015. This past weekend I was in an annual chili cook. As ever, I did not win but placed well, 4th of 13. 1 15oz can diced tomatoes. 1 15oz can tomato sauce. 2 chipotle peppers in adobo, chopped. 2 tablespoons of chili powder. Then in a skillet, brown 2 pounds of ground chuck. Drain and discard the fat. Add to the crock pot. Not much to look .

Tuesday, June 18, 2013. I know, bad blogger. It took me visiting some blogs to realize that I have been really bad about keeping up with my own. So much for tracking the progress of this next adoption. Hitting that roadblock while I was knee deep in papers and finals made me throw in the towel, temporarily.
